ABOUT US

The Japanese Business Association of Stockholm University, JBA, is a student association with the purpose to promote contacts and relations between students and the business community and official institutions in connection with Japan, the Japanese society and the Japanese language.

JBA functions as a hub that connects the business community and expertise with Japanese language proficiency:

We assist companies in search for interpreters and co-workers.

We publish work adds and conduct general communication.

We hold various events where students and representatives from the business and cultural community are given the opportunity to meet and establish
contacts.

We assist members finding work where they can practice their Japanese skill set.

We create internships and possibilities to write bachelor and master thesis in and together with a company.

JBA is endorsed by the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies and Head of Department Alberto Tiscornia at Stockholm University.
